Dr. S. Thangavelu served as Moderator for the panel discussion on “X-Rays – From Shadows to Solutions” and as Chairperson of the Scientific Committee. Dr. N. C. Gowrishankar delivered the Dr. Jayaraj Avaynadar Oration on “Every Breath Counts – Translating Asthma Research into Daily Care” and served as Chairman of the Venue Management Committee.
Dr. K. Nedunchelian served as Chairperson for a scientific session and Chairman of the Souvenir Committee, while Dr. Annamalai Vijayaraghavan contributed as Co-Organizing Faculty for the Golden Jubilee Chennai Pedicon, Faculty for the BLS Workshop, panellist in a Panel Discussion, and Executive Board Member of CIAP.
Dr. K. Sasidaran served as Moderator for the panel discussion on “Metabolic Meltdown: A Stepwise Rescue Plan”, and Dr. Shivan Kesavan participated as a Panellist in the session on “Classification and Current Management of Seizures.” Dr. Kalaivani Ganesan delivered a lecture on “Paediatric AKI – Do More with Less.”
The department also had strong representation in the scientific presentations, with Dr. Y. Sri Soundarya and Dr. R. Priyadarshini receiving the Dr. C. Thirugnanasambandam Award and Dr. T.
