Dr. N. C. Gowri Shankar was the Moderator for the panel discussion “Hemoptysis in Children: OPD Approach for Non-Pulmonologists”, facilitating a practical, case-based discussion focused on improving frontline pediatric care.

First Fetal Echocardiography Workshop at Chetpet Campus – A Successful Event

The first Fetal Echocardiography Workshop at Dr. Mehta’s Chetpet campus was a great success. The one‑day program covered Basic Skills in the morning and Advanced Imaging in the afternoon, with 42 doctors participating (34 in Basic and 35 in Advanced batches), evenly split between fetal medicine/OBG and radiology.
Dr. C. Shanthi led the sessions through live demos, OPUS simulator training (supported by Mediscan Medialogic), and case discussions. The workshop ran smoothly with excellent support from the scan room team under Dr. Anand, Mehta’s obstetricians, radiology team, and Ms. Angel for venue, IT, and logistics coordination. Food arrangements from Mehta’s canteen were also appreciated.
Participants shared positive feedback, describing it as a well-executed and valuable learning program.
